About Us

The Wedding Co-operation is the brainchild of Susan
Cuthbert of Cobalt Jewellery Designs and Lynne Erskine of
Caralyle Cards & Invitations.

Susan and Lynne met via Business Gateway Women into
Networking events, and quickly realised they had a shared
passion for success, and many ideas for business growth that
would benefit both parties.
Both Cobalt and Caralyle have been in existence for a
relatively short period of time, and as such have been faced
with the usual new business problems, and have drawn a
great deal of support from each other.
They also met various other new and established wedding
suppliers through Business Gateway Network Events,
Wedding Fairs and business transactions, and realised that
we could all benefit greatly from each other's experiences.

Thus The Wedding Co-operation was born in 2006!

The Wedding Co-operation is a non-profit organisation. All
proceeds from members fees go towards joint advertising in
magazines, local and national press, website, and online
advertising. Fees also go towards the cost of organising our
very own wedding fayre.

We have now held several very successful Wedding Fayres
in Dunfermline, one at the BLCC and the rest at the Glen
